GATHERINGS
Peoples Monastery hosts safe space gatherings with each possessing the elements of meditation, the arts, dialogue and ritual in their own unique ways. All of them take place in private, intimate, invite-only venues to deepen the experience and connection of participants.
CIRCLE SESSIONS
A Circle Session is an intimate gathering rooted in a selected theme consisting of meditation, meaningful discussion, musical, poetic or theatrical sharings and contemporary rituals that often involve the elements of water, fire, air and earth. The circle is a carefully layered experience that begins with everyone as individual puzzle pieces, who by its conclusion have organically come together into a connected, thoughtful and unified whole.
RITUAL READINGS
A Ritual Reading, which is inspired by the contemplative practice of “Lectio Davina” (divine study), is a theatrical play reading presented by script-in-hand actors with layers of spirited character expression, grounding meditation, personal reflection and mindful connection with those attending. This is an opportunity for the experience of theatre to return to its ritualistic roots where actors are honored as creative vessels while those observing are invited into deeper energetic engagement and collaborative participation.
ROOT ROUNDTABLES
A Root Roundtable is a sacred constructive forum centered around a selected issue that is communally explored by spiritual leaders, scholars, activists, light-workers and those possessing first-hand experience. A space with healing introspection, divine dialogue and educational exchanges. All with an authentic intention to build bridges of unification, lessen destructive separation and make room for open-minded, hearted and spirited elevation.
